What is the Freightliner M2 6.7 engine oil capacity in quarts?

In this article, we will discuss the M2 Freightliner equipped with a Cummins ISB 6.7L engine and the capacity in quarts for each truck by year and model. If you own a Freightliner or have a fleet of them, great choice and a great semi!  Although in general, most sources say 12 quarts for the Freightliner M2 106, the best way to check is by searching your engine on the Cummin’s website for the oil capacity.

For years between 2007 through 2016, most Freightliners that have a Cummins ISB 6.7L engine will need 3 gallons or 12 quarts of oil with a filter. Please check your engine’s 8-digit serial number for the owner’s manual to confirm before changing the oil.
