Team Sets Record with the Help of AMSOIL

Marka Gallina of Gallina Racing in Phoenix, Arizona set a National Hot Rod Association record in the quarter mile with a time of 11.28 seconds at 109.19 mph while driving her 1984 Buick Regal T-Type. Gallina also set a record in a different class with the time of 12.26 seconds at 108.09 mph. TEXAS TURBO Dragster Sets Records with AMSOIL

Gene Deputy, President of TEXAS TURBO ENGINEERING, Inc. designs and builds racing engines. He is also an excellent drag racer. For the extra edge he needs to win, Gene uses AMSOIL Lubricants in all his race cars.

I have to make hard runs, where the turbine wheel approaches 1700 degrees Fahrenheit at 15 psi of boost. I don't have to leave the car running as long to circulate oil to cool of the shaft since the cooking point is higher. This means the engine has a longer cool down period for the next run.

Drag Racer, Rex Shobe, Praises AMSOIL
